Daniel has 10 years’ experience in digital marketing. Prior to Experian, Daniel worked as European Head of Digital at Stanley Black & Decker and in Sony Europe’s digital marketing team.
Mark Runacus

Mark was a journalist and a brand marketer before moving agency side. He worked at Ogilvy and Carlson before setting up Crayon’s planning department in 2000. Crayon became Karmarama in July 2012. A life-long data-driven marketer, Mark was recently elected Chair of the DMA Board. Mark kicked off his three-year leadership tenure by calling on brands to be more authentic in their relationship with consumers. Mark is also President of Pride AM, the UK’s advertising LGBT+ network. Pride AM is lobbying for fairer LGBT+ representation in advertising, and for an inclusive, prejudice-free creative working environment.

Rosemary Smith

Rosemary began her career in publishing and worked in the data business from 1989 to 2012.

In 2004, with partner Jenny Moseley, she set up Opt-4 which advises organisations on UK and international data protection compliance and the maximization of marketing permissions. She has helped to shape the regulatory framework for marketing through extensive trade association involvement including chairmanship of the Direct Marketing Association’s Governance Committee and the DMA Board. She is currently Chair of the DM Trust.

Rosemary has given presentations covering all aspects of data protection compliance and permission based marketing to audiences in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and South Africa. She is also a tutor for the Institute of Direct Marketing where she is currently delivering regular courses for marketers covering the impact of the new Data Protection Regulation.

Riaz is Managing Director of Connected Paths, the leading account based marketing agency helping B2B companies increase their market intelligence, lead generation and conversion. He has spent the last two decades either as a B2B marketer or helping B2B and B2C marketers drive success in their marketing programmes both in the UK and internationally.

He sold his startup to Silverpop (now IBM), a world leading marketing automation platform, creating its international headquarters, sat on the DMA email marketing council helping to set the direction of the email marketing industry and judging its prestigious marketing awards. He has advised some of the UK’s largest companies including Tesco, UBS, FedEx and Transport for London.

He regularly speaks on the topics of Account Based Marketing, B2B Marketing, email marketing and innovation in marketing technology.
Steve Kemish

Steve is a multi-award-winning marketer and public speaker who has worked in digital marketing since 1997. He has worked client-side, helped grow a leading email service provider, consulted to numerous clients on digital strategy, and latterly helped build one of the most respected and awarded B2B marketing agencies in the UK.

A highly regarded speaker, lecturer and writer, Steve has worked with the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) the DMA and other leading trade and training bodies since 2004 on various courses and events and has been invited to speak throughout the world on the subject of digital marketing. He was appointed a Fellow of the IDM in early 2009, making him one of their youngest ever appointments.

As well as his roles at The IDM he is Managing Partner of Junction, a guest lecturer at various British universities and a longstanding Superbrands judge.
Jennifer Watkiss

Jennifer has been marketing to, for, and with B2B technology companies for the past decade. As Head of Marketing Communications at Adestra, she brings her deep knowledge of and passion for technology solutions to the realm of digital marketing.
